When an order is placed, we will book a provisional delivery date to your convenience. Should you wish to alter this delivery date, we would request that we are notified 24 hours prior to the intended delivery date to re-arrange. We would also need to you to confirm that there is access for a 17 tonne delivery vehicle (approximate length 13 metres, approximate width 3.5 metres) with a tail-lift off load and a pallet truck for moving the tiles. The area that the tiles are being delivered to needs to be level and flat.
Orders placed before 10.30 am, (Monday to Friday) are usually despatched on the same day, orders received after 10.30am, will be despatched on the next working day. This is the cut off time with our national carriers.
Restricted Access
If you can only be reached by narrow lanes and sharp bends etc. we request that we are informed at the time of ordering. Alternative arrangements may be possible to get the goods delivered on a smaller vehicle, 7.5 tonne delivery vehicle (approximate length 9.5 metres, approximate width 3.1 metres)
Deliveries using smaller vehicles may need to be shipped on additional pallets to comply with the reduced 750 kg tail-lift weights.
Kerbside Delivery
All deliveries are kerbside only. The goods will be delivered to the nearest convenient point to your property. Should the tiles need to be moved, please ensure that there is sufficient manpower on site to do this, it is not the responsibility of the driver to do so.
Due to the weight of the crates they cannot be moved on gravel drives, grass or mud etc., only hardstanding areas
Economy Service
The order will be delivered 3-5 working days from despatch and a delivery date convenient to you. The driver will try and call 1 hour prior to delivery. Deliveries are Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 6.00pm. Please ensure that somebody is available to sign for the delivery.
Next Day Service
The order will be despatched the same day and delivered on the next working day between 8.30 am and 6.00pm.
Re-Deliveries
You or a nominated party must be at the delivery point to sign for the order. If no one is available on site the order will be returned to the delivering depot and a further charge will be made before the order can be re-delivered.
Damages and Claims
In the event that there are any damages on delivery, (please inspect the pallet when it arrives and note any visible signs of damage by signing the delivery note as DAMAGED. Please call and notify us within 24 hours to enable replacements to be despatched. Photographic evidence of damages would be required for any claim.
Delayed Deliveries
Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that your delivery arrives on the date arranged, we cannot be held responsible for delays which are caused beyond our control, i.e. inclement weather, road traffic accidents, broken down vehicles etc.
